The decor in the Double Room Cabin leans towards an intriguing aesthetic, definitely trying to capture a unique vibe. The setup has a certain charm, reminiscent of an eclectic space that some may find engaging.
The lighting situation is overly dim, creating a dark atmosphere that feels quite confining—not ideal if you're after an inviting space. The cabin rooms are cramped, making basic tasks like showering a challenge. expect water to splash all over the bathroom floor. Storage is lacking with minimal space for clothing and only one stool provided, meaning you’ll either clutter the area or toss things onto the bed. the breakfast choices left much to be desired, with limited options and hot food that felt excessively greasy. it skews more toward style than practicality, which might not suit all tastes.

It was just a good match for short stay in Edinburgh with good price-value balance. The bar staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. Check if the toilet is working properly before settling in.

The room was super stylish, with unique decor that really stood out. it was tiny and we had to top and tail in the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable. The blackout curtains were a win for sleep quality, but for the price, I expected more space. Loved the mood lighting though!

The quirky decor and the VIP-like atmosphere immediately set a positive tone. Complimentary prosecco upon check-in was a delightful surprise. The shower experience was outstanding and the bed felt wonderfully comfortable. Access to local attractions, like the nearby comedy club, was a bonus. a more extensive breakfast menu could enhance the experience, and some additional noise insulation would improve comfort during the night.

The Double Room Cabin felt intimate and cozy. The staff treated me exceptionally well throughout my stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like cookies and milk delivered to my room. the room was truly cramped, especially with my luggage. I struggled to move around comfortably. The lighting in the corridors also felt too dim, which made navigation a bit tricky. The atmosphere was unique, but more natural light in the rooms would enhance the experience significantly.
